Western Sydney Parklands is bringing science to western Sydney families this National Science Week with a free, fun, family day out that’s packed full of science and discovery.
Science in the Scrub will come to Lizard Log on Sunday, 14th August and will include a Bush Craft village where kids can learn valuable bush survival skills, take a prehistoric tour of the Parklands and meet a life-size dinosaur!

Native wildlife animal displays
Bush food activities
A liquid nitrogen show
A pop-up ocean lab from the Australian National Maritime Museum

Erth’s life-size roving Australovenator dinosaur
Family-friendly science experiments with real scientists, and:
Live performances including the must-see dinosaur show and crowd favourite, Snugglepot and Cuddlepie.

Swamp to Scrub .
Featuring games, activities and a virtual tour from Centennial Parklands to Western Sydney Parklands, the interactive online tool will be available until the end of August.
