Gather the kiddos and make your way to the Fairfield City Museum & Gallery for some summer storytime and craft hijinks hosted by FCMG and Fairfield City Open Libraries. Imagine snuggling up for some giggle-inducing tales, followed by crafty activities that might just reveal your child's hidden artistic genius, or at least create some masterpieces that even the fridge will be proud of. If you've got little ones aged 3 to 5, mark your diaries for select Wednesdays like February 12, March 12, April 9, and May 14. You wouldn't want to miss out on the fun.

While you're there, take a leisurely wander through the Vintage Village, where it's easy to spark your kids' imagination and maybe even inspire a few nostalgic stories from the adults about "the good old days." Just a heads up that you'll need to register for the session that fits your schedule, because if there's one thing that guarantees a stress-free family outing, it's a bit of preparation. Who knows, you might just walk away with a creation that's gallery-worthy or at least something you can proudly stick on the fridge.
